Erosion

Water seeps into the strong rock
it seeks out cracks and crevices
probing its way to the heart of the mountain
then freezes, expands, snaps and breaks the rock,
millimetre by millimetre
the mountain wears away
the high place becomes a plain
and the heart of the mountain
is eroded.

When the core has disappeared
you are still there in your fullness
and your greater majesty
bring a new existence.
